The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join an education-focused non-profit. This individual will play a key role in managing all the organization's day-to-day and back-end financial and accounting functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter with previous experience working in a non-profit setting with preference for a candidate who has worked with federal grants. This is a temporary opportunity with strong potential for converting to a permanent role!
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee all accounts and ledgers to ensure compliance with federal and regulatory requirements
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliation for bank and investment accounts
Coordinate all audit activity and provide analysis and reporting to leadership
Assist with the annual budget planning
Manage all grant accounting, budgeting, and reporting
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, active CPA or plans to pursue highly desired
3+ years of accounting experience required
Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
Knowledge of federal grant processes and compliance
Proficiency in Spanish, a plus
