The Ford Agency has an exciting Volunteer Engagement opportunity working with a Virginia based, community support non-profit. This role is focused on developing and enriching a strong corporate and community volunteer base for several ongoing events. This is a great role for an individual who has a year of experience creating volunteer training programs and conducting a broad scope of outreach and is looking to work with a mission driven organization committed to community support.
Responsibilities Include:
Engage with community members and corporations to develop volunteer engagement
Assess volunteer needs based on programming and establish training modules
Maintain volunteer event scheduling and outreach
Assist with strategic program planning and volunteer initiatives
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of volunteer engagement experience
Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Resourcefulness, ability to work independently, and think creatively
