The Ford Agency is seeking a professional Chief of Staff to oversee the logistical operations of a busy and high profile conservative policy executive. This is a fast paced environment that requires someone who can think quickly on their feet and anticipate needs and priorities by keeping their eye on the big picture. Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the administrative staff, legislative and policy research teams, and communications with a positive leadership style
Maintain strong knowledge of conservative positions and key policy issues
Assist communications team with press statements, speech writing, and media relations
Establish and maintain relationships with various think tanks and advocacy organizations
Prepare guest lists and invitations for events and verify RSVPs
Ensure office priorities are in alignment with executives policy agenda
Coordinate travel logistics and prepare detailed itineraries
Qualifications Include:
4+ years of logistics and administration management for a policy focused team
Hill experience strongly preferred
Ability to be available after hours as needed for last minute needs
Ability to act as the staff leader while maintaining positive relations ships and atmosphere of mutual respect
Ability to navigate a high-profile political landscape with professionalism and poise
Exceptional communication skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
