Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for a Conference Services Assistant for one of DC's best known international law firms!  This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and takes the lead with coordinating  logistics for internal meetings. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with administrative experience, who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment and is looking to jumpstart their career with a great firm! This role is fully onsite Monday-Friday and the hours are 9:30am-6:00pm.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Schedule meetings and book conference rooms for attorneys and staff to include: coordinating catering, setting up technology/computer/AV equipment needs
  • Collect important information about each reservation to ensure that appropriate spaces are reserved and meet the meeting requirements
  • Assist with special requests including transportation, travel, restaurants, etc.
  • Build collegial relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients
  • Assist with other projects as needed
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of administrative, customer service, or hospitality experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability work fully onsite
  • Proficient in MS Teams, Zoom, and MS Office Suite
  • Team player mentality
     
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
