Job Description

The Ford Agency is recruiting for top-notch Administrative Coordinator to support the State Advocacy team at a national trade association. This is a busy role that requires resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.  The successful candidate will have experience providing administrative support to a team virtually and have the confidence to interact regularly with high-level executives. If you have at least 4 years of administrative support experience and are looking to join an organization dedicated to its employees professional growth and development, this could be a terrific opportunity for you!  Hill experience is helpful, though not a must.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage detailed and busy calendars
  • Prepare documents and correspondence
  • Build relationships with committee chairs and staff to coordinate meetings
  • Collaborate with the communications and other internal teams
  • Coordinate travel logistics including flights, hotels, and transportation as needed
  • Assist with special projects as requested
 
Qualifications Include:
  • 4+ years providing administrative support
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
