Job Description

The Ford Agency is working with a great association based in Old Town, Alexandria to find an Events Administrative Assistant to support their busy and detail-oriented team on an open-ended temporary assignment. The Assistant will support with all administrative, data entry, meeting, events, and fundraising tasks.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Enter all donations, event timeline updates and fulfilments, inquires, applications, and other critical data into CRM system
  • Pull data reports and track donor activity
  • Act as point of contact for donors, internal and external stakeholders, members, and non-members for all inquiries and requests for information
  • Provide support to Marketing and Communications teams with marketing initiatives
  • Track and maintain critical project timelines and report to team to aid in successful completion
  • Support third party vendors with meeting coordination, file sharing, and tracking/maintenance of agendas and minutes
  • Support logistics, planning, and execution of weekly event
  • Other duties as requested
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or similar
  • 1+ years' experience in an events assistant or similar position
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Mail Merge's, PowerPoint and Planner a plus
  • Excellent written communication skills and superb attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • A positive and willing attitude
 
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
