The Ford Agency is recruiting for an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join the DC office of a reputable law firm. This role is essential to the firm's commitment to client service and is an excellent fit for a candidate with direct billing experience in another nationally recognized law firm. Fantastic communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a personality that thrives in a high-level and fast paced culture are keys to a candidate's success with this team.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage monthly client billing including:
E-billing
Accruals
Internal approvals
Prepare invoices
Reporting
Create monthly reports and billing schedules
Handle a high volume of bills every month
Follow firm policies and procedures
Respond to billing issues and inquiries
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of hands on legal billing experience
Professional communication and organization skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with 3E or Aderant
Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
