Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced Benefits Coordinator to join the busy HR team of a top international litigation firm. This individual will serve as the department point of contact for all benefits questions and will review and approve new hire elections and open enrollment tasks. This opportunity is perfect for a candidate with benefits administration experience in multiple states who is looking to work with a team that is committed to providing the best resources to its employees.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee benefits programs and process changes for open enrollment

  • Manage the benefits administrative process and work with 3rd party vendors

  • Ensure compliance with benefits programs

  • Assist with Benefits Orientation and annual compensation process

  • Maintain and update documents pertinent to benefits enrollment


Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3+ years of benefits administration experience

  • HRIS experience required, WorkDay preferred

  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multiple state leave laws

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRMS software

  • Strong customer service communication skills


Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
