Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator for a long-term temporary position at a well-established non-profit. The Benefits Administrator will coordinate payroll and group benefits compliance with a focus on year-end responsibilities. We are looking for someone with solid experience handling 401K and health benefits who is available to start working immediately.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Administering benefits (health, disability, retirement, worker's comp, etc.
  • Serving as contact for vendors and third-party administrators
  • Managing year end compliance audits, requires notices, and testing and assist with 5500 preparation
  • Maintaining benefits files, and payroll records
  • Act as point of contact for employee benefits related questions
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years' experience in benefits administration
  • Prior experience with HRIS database and ADP Workforce required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
 
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area and be available to start working immediately.
