Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an IT Infrastructure & Compliance Manager to oversee an IT department that provides consistent support to users in the US federal government. This individual will work closely with the CAO in designing security systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and government regulations. This role requires an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee IT strategy and long-term project management

  • Manage and lead an IT team

  • Oversee security frameworks, architecture, policies, and standards

  • Manage email security, firewall infrastructure, and data loss prevention

  • Implement technical measures to mitigate Foreign Ownership, Control & Influence (FOCI) in accordance with DCSA requirements

  • Oversee and execute incident response plans

  • Conduct security audits and reviews to mitigate potential threats

  • Collaborate with leadership and legal to ensure compliance with federal IT policies and requirements

  • Lead IT projects and ensure they're completed by the deadline and within budget


Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • CISSP, CISM or related certification

  • 8+ years of experience in IT Management

  • IT experience in the government space strongly preferred

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. federal government standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-218, FedRAMP, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.), as well as common commercial standards (ISO 2700x, PCI, etc.).

  • Experience with FOCI mitigation measures and other compliance matters relating to DCSA oversight.

  • Familiarity with audit frameworks and auditing procedures

  • Proven track record of managing IT teams and security initiatives

  • Excellent communication and organization skills


Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
