The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team of a prestigious law firm. This individual will support an array of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. This is a contract role, eligible for benefits, and scheduled to go through March 2025.
Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles
Assist with administration of benefits (DC Family and Medical Leave, Parental Leave, etc.)
Contribute to the annual performance review process
Assist with planning and developing training and professional development programs and curriculum
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of previous Human Resources experience, law firm setting preferred
Experience with full-cycle recruiting
Knowledge of HR and Labor/Employment laws
Strong communication skills and customer service
Flexibility for overtime as needed
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
