The Ford Agency has partnered with a successful DC based design firm in search of a senior level Finance and Compliance candidate. This role will oversee all finance and compliance operations and will undertake firm-wide financial planning, mapping, and legal compliance. Responsibilities Include:
Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, billing, general ledger, and credit card accounts and reconciliations
Manage budgets, prepare financial reports and summaries, create forecasts, and prepare profitability reports
Manage state-to-state compliance regulations and matters, tax planning and filings, and all expense audits and documents
Handle contract negotiations and accounts receivable
Work closely with counsel to prepare contract and agreement drafts, ensuring financial compliance
Work closely with management team to advise of financials and compliance
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar
6+ years' experience in a senior finance or director level, or similar position
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel required
Previous experience in commercial design industry highly regarded
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
