Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for a Conference Services Assistant for one of DC's best known international law firms!  This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and takes the lead with coordinating logistics for internal meetings. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with administrative experience, who thrives in a busy environment and is looking to jumpstart their career in a law firm! This role is fully onsite Monday-Friday and the hours are 7:30am-4:00pm.
 
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Schedule meetings and book conference rooms to include: coordinating catering, setting up technology/computer/AV equipment needs
  • Collect information about each reservation to ensure that appropriate spaces are reserved and meet the meeting requirements
  • Assist with special requests including transportation, travel, restaurants, etc.
  • Assist with other projects as needed
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of administrative, customer service, or hospitality experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability work fully onsite
  • Proficient in MS Teams, Zoom, and MS Office Suite
  • Team player mentality
     
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
